As a bookworm, I aim to read many classics.

I’ve read a few, but I want to read more. There’s Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights, but I don’t know if I should buy it. Jane Eyre looks really interesting, and it costs 295 php, but I’m still not sure. :|

"The Twelfth Angel" by Og Mandino

I was looking at the books in our house, and I saw this one. I read the plot at the back of the book, and I decided to bring it to school so I’ll have something to read when there is free time. At first, I thought that I wouldn’t like it, since it’s a story about life. You know .. it’s that I’m-gonna-kill-myself-but-someone-comes-along kind of book. But somehow, I learned to appreciate the book. Even though it’s a book about life and how important it is, I liked it. I didn’t expect myself to like it hahahaha. :D

Those books have different covers, and the photos that I used in this post are the covers of the copies I have. :)

I really like Sophie Kinsella. I first bought her book “Remember Me?” to see why she’s a famous author. Since I’ve only read one of her books, I can’t really judge her. By now I’ve read three and I really really love her! <3 Most of the time, the books I’ve read and loved are mostly fantasy, or not real. For example, angels (Fallen Series), vampires (HoN series; they’re awesome vampires, okay?), fairies gnomes LEPrecon and such (Artemis Fowl). Sophie Kinsella’s books makes me realize more that plots that can actually happen in real life can be good, as long as the author is awesome. (I sure hope that my readers get my point) Heh~ :D

I bought the book “Remember Me?” on our trip to Macau, bought “The Undomestic Goddess” on our trip to Malaysia, and bought “Can You Keep a Secret?” on our trip back to Manila from Malaysia. :)) I’ll definitely be buying more of Sophie Kinsella’s books. Good thing that Christmas is soon. :3 HAHAHA :D

I can’t really make a review about those two Sophie Kinsella books because mostly I’ll be saying “I love it!” a lot of times, so I’ll go on to the third one.

The Book of Tomorrow. When I first read the basic plot story on the back of the book, I was hooked. I have to admit, it was one of those books that you have to force yourself to start. The first few pages were good, and the following pages up to around page 50 were really boring. Thankfully, the story got better after that. The plot got so interesting. It was a page-turner.

I finished the book at school since I was too sleepy last night (but I would’ve finished it if I wasn’t lying on the bed). The plot is amazing! I really love this book! :”>

I could never write a book review properly because I’ll probably be like, “The plot was _____”, “I really love it!”, “It’s awesome/amazing/other adjectives”.

But seriously, I just love the feeling of finishing a really good book. :”> <3

I READ FINISHED RE-READING RAPTURE.

YOU ALL MUST UNDERSTAND THAT I JUST CANNOT CONTAIN ALL THESE EMOTIONS OF MINE. THE ENDING IS JUST SO AEFEHFWEFWHEWGR MAKES ME WANNA CRY IN A CORNER AND STAY THERE FOREVER CONTEMPLATING THE ENDING OF THAT BOOK. I MEAN, THAT BOOK IS JUST SIMPLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK I HAVE EVER READ.

THE ENDING JUST MAKES ME WANNA ISOLATE MYSELF FROM OTHER PEOPLE BECAUSE I REALLY WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO CALM DOWN. IT’S SAD AND BEAUTIFUL AND HAPPY AT THE SAME TIME. I HAVE MIXED EMOTIONS ABOUT IT BUT I THINK THERE’S NO OTHER WAY TO END IT BUT OVER TIME I HAVE LEARNED TO ACCEPT IT.

I JUST WANT TO CRY. RAPTURE, YOU BEAUTIFUL BOOK. I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO WRITE BETTER BOOKS IN THE FUTURE. NEVER. ♥ :’(

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

I told Pam yesterday that I want to borrow it from her, so this morning at 6 AM, she gave it to me. I immediately started reading. Since we didn’t have morning classes at all, except for one subject (KJ) I was able to finish it before our lunch break, which is at 12:20 PM. :)

I wasn’t so lame like the Twilight Saga. It was actually really good. Just the right amount of love stuff. =)))))))

Last night, at around 11 PM, I decided to start on this book and hope that I fell asleep. I didn’t. I ended up reading it until 2 AM. I really loved it, but it hurts so much. I thought it was a single book, but it turns out there’s a next book coming out, called “The Elite”. I was really heartbroken. The plot is so awesome! ♥ I won’t even try to describe it because it’s really hard describing such beautiful books. Just trust me. <3

I love the book so much! :’) I hope it wouldn’t be made into a movie someday. Now that will be another heartbreak. :)

Artemis Fowl and the Last Guardian (may contain spoilers)

I JUST FINISHED THE LAST BOOK OF MY FAVORITE SERIES OMG WHAT WILL I DO NOW WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE OMG OMG SO MANY EMOTIONS

I bought this 8 days ago. I swore to myself that I won’t read it immediately, because it was so pricey (worth it! ♥). O-M-G. I just can’t express these feelings. I mean, when I read that Artemis was dead, I didn’t believe it. I just continued reading. It was like I just read a normal, ordinary sentence. When I got to the ending, I was triumphant because I was right! HAH! :)

I have so much respect for Eoin Colfer even when the series was just starting. Only Eoin Colfer could write about carnivorous rabbits and still keep it serious. From the first chapter, there was already action. Seriously. The story began immediately! ♥

OMG I JUST CAN’T … DEWJFNWIOUWJGWRHGUIWRFHRKGJHGKTHRE. SO MUCH EMOTIONS RAAAWR

Since summer started, I was waiting for the release of this book already! It was to be released on June 12, 2012 (which was yesterday). Fortunately, we needed to go to National Book Store to buy my notebooks. We bought Rapture, too! :”>

I was so busy yesterday, so I wasn’t able to start reading it. When I got home from school today, I immediately started reading it. I just finished it right now, as I am typing this. I still have a lot of things to do, but I just really wanted to finish the book first! (talk about not knowing which to prioritize first. Hahahaha. )

OMG THE BOOK WAS SO AWESOME! IT WAS SO UNEXPECTED, SO UNBELIEVABLE, HEARTBREAKING AT THE SAME TIME! IT WASN’T LIKE ANY OTHER BOOK I HAVE READ BEFORE. DEFINITELY, THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOOK. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.

USUALLY, WHEN I SAW NO WORDS ARE ABLE TO DESCRIBE SOMETHING, I DON’T REALLY MEAN IT. BUT RIGHT NOW, I REALLY DO MEAN IT! NO WORDS CAN EVEN DESCRIBE MY FEELINGS AND THE BEAUTY OF THIS BOOK.

IT WAS SO PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL! ♥

I really have mixed emotions right now. About the story, I mean. It’s just that …. NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THIS. ♥

I love that feeling that I feel whenever I finish reading such a nice book. I must admit, I haven’t had this feeling for a while now. I just borrowed this book from my friend. (we often borrow each other’s books) The plot was well written.

I have always wanted to be an author, and whenever I read really good books, I get more inspired. I have never thought of those kind of plots, and I have really high respect for awesome authors.

THIS BOOK IS JUST SO AWESOME AND I CAN’T KEEP CALM. THIS JUST MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR! (hahaha just kidding. To be released this year are four books from different series that I love.)

So much awesomeness! ♥

For today, I decided to read some more books. I these three books this afternoon. I am currently reading another one entitled Susanna Hits Hollywood. I might blog about it when I read more books tomorrow because I’m pretty sure it doesn’t deserve a post of it’s own, haha! :D

Hershey Herself - This book is really the saddest book I have ever read so far. As much as I’d hate to admit it, there was an occasional teardrop every few chapters. This might sound oh-so-dramatic, but it really did make me appreciate all the things and blessings I have in life. It’s sad and beautiful at the same time, just like some other things in the story.

Things that are - After reading a few pages, I realized that this was a book related to another book (entitled Things not seen, which is written by same author of course). I had this surprised look stapled to my face when I found out! Anyway, the book was okay. It was still a good book even though it didn’t have much thrill or excitement in the plot.

Room One - I remembered that I started reading this in the past, but I don’t recall if I finished it, so I continued reading. It was a good book, though it wasn’t exactly exciting. It was a book written by Andrew Clements, and I could say that this isn’t his best work. I have other books of his, and those were a lot better.
